Metallica has officially confirmed "Life Burns Faster," a highly anticipated eight-show residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas for October 2026. Following their "No Repeat Weekend" tradition, the band will perform unique setlists every Thursday and Saturday, ensuring no songs are repeated throughout the run. This residency leverages the Sphere’s world-class 16K LED screen and 4D immersive audio, a move Lars Ulrich describes as "uncharted territory" for the live concert experience.

To mark a historic 40-year partnership, TAMA Drums is releasing an ultra-limited Lars Ulrich Signature Kit. This collaboration began in 1984 under extraordinary circumstances: after Metallica’s gear was stolen, a legendary introduction by Neil Peart paved the way for a lifelong alliance. Over the decades, TAMA and Lars have pushed the boundaries of drum design, from the massive setups of the 1990s to the aggressive signature snares that defined the band's modern sound.

Limited to just 72 units worldwide, this anniversary kit is a precise replica of the setup used on the "72 Seasons" tour. Built with high-end Starclassic Maple shells in a vibrant custom yellow finish, the kit features dual 22" bass drums and the exact REMO heads used by Lars on stage. Each set is a true piece of heavy metal history, featuring a hand-signed Certificate of Authenticity and unique signed stickers inside the shells, honoring one of the most enduring relationships in the drumming world.
