Larnell Lewis

Larnell Lewis is a Canadian drummer, composer, producer, and educator from Toronto, globally acclaimed for his versatility and talent. A key member of the band Snarky Puppy since 2012, he has won multiple Grammy Awards with them. Alongside his work with the band, Larnell has developed a significant online presence through his numerous appearances on the Drumeo website, where he shares his expertise through masterclasses, song analyses, and impressive challenges. He has also led a prolific solo career, releasing several albums including "In The Moment" (2018) and "Slice of Life" (2024), exploring his jazz, fusion, and Afro-Caribbean roots. In late 2024, he released "The Caribbean Christmas Mixtape Vol. 1" with his wife, Joy Lapps Lewis. In addition to his musical achievements, Larnell is a passionate educator at Humber College, inspiring numerous drummers worldwide, notably through his influential presence on Drumeo.
