As a founding member and the relentless rhythmic engine of the multi-platinum band Slipknot (where he was known as #1), his playing redefined the boundaries of modern metal. His work on landmark albums like Slipknot and Iowa fused extreme blast beats, breakneck double-bass, and a profound sense of groove that propelled the band to global dominance. Beyond his legendary drum throne, Jordison was a prolific songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, famously showcasing his passion as the guitarist for the horror-punk band Murderdolls.
