II is the masked drummer for the anonymous British alternative metal collective, Sleep Token.
His drumming serves as the rhythmic backbone of the band’s compositions, earning acclaim for its impressive genre-blending versatility. His style seamlessly integrates the technical elements of extreme metal with complex grooves borrowed from Gospel, R&B, and drum and bass music.
He is renowned for his laser-precise technique, complex linear fills, challenging polyrhythms, and incredible footwork. On stage, he maintains a stoic posture during the band's "rituals" (live shows), reinforcing Sleep Token's esoteric identity.
II's impact has been massively recognized by the drumming community. Notably, he swept the categories at the prestigious "Drummer of the Year 2023" awards presented by Drumeo, including winning "Best Metal Drummer"
He gave his first-ever recorded interview and play-through for Drumeo in 2023, appearing masked and using a voice modulator to preserve his mystery. Most recently, he performed at the BagShow 2025 in Paris.
