Evgeny Novikov is a phenomenal Russian drummer best known as the powerhouse driving the deathcore juggernaut Slaughter to Prevail. Since joining the band, Novikov has become a central figure in the modern extreme metal scene, widely respected for his staggering endurance, lightning-fast blast beats, and devastating double-bass execution. His work on massive tracks like Demolisher and the album Kostolom helped propel the band to global headlining status, setting a benchmark for sheer physical power and rhythmic precision in deathcore.

Novikov’s playing style centers on maintaining crushing velocity and razor-sharp separation during intense, high-speed breakdowns.
