Dave Weckl is a towering icon in the global drumming community, widely considered one of the most influential fusion and jazz-rock drummers of all time. He achieved legendary status in the 1980s and 1990s through his groundbreaking work with the Chick Corea Elektric Band and Akoustic Band, setting a new standard for technical mastery, independence, and precise dynamic control.
