Brandon Zackey

Brandon Zackey is an American metal drummer widely recognized for his razor-sharp technicality and physical control behind the kit. He built a strong reputation through his work with progressive metalcore outfit Enterprise Earth before earning the permanent drum throne for deathcore heavyweights Whitechapel. His career is defined by his seamless blend of intense speed, intricate ghost-note phrasing, and rock-solid metronomic stability.

His drumming style features high-speed double-bass runs, intricate polyrhythmic grooves, precise linear mechanics, and dynamic hand-to-foot combinations across demanding tempos.

On stage and in the studio, Zackey plays a Mapex kit paired with cutting Zildjian cymbals and durable Vic Firth sticks. He skins his drums with Evans heads tuned for clear articulation during fast passages, and relies on Trick Drums pedals for his extreme footwork. Brandon Zackey remains a definitive benchmark for modern metal mechanics, studio precision, and relentless foot control.
